" Handshaking"
Hello guys, welcome back to my blog. Cross-culture understanding is one of my subjects that I must master this semester.
Talk about cross-culture understanding, it means we talk about many cultures in this world. So in this blog, I want to tell you guys about it.
I have experienced while did the handshaking with Kefamenanu people. Kefamenanu is part of North Central Timor ( Nusa Tenggara Timur ) because of Kefamenanu nearby Timor Leste so the way they live quite the same with people in Timor Leste. I went to Kefamenanu for did my test (University)with my sister. I think handshaking is a general way for people to introducing themself with people they have met. But, for kefamenanu people, they will do handshaking with their nose (they stick to our noses)
Man or women also did that, at first I thought there was like uncomfortable to me but, I still did that. I did it with the man because at the moment I just met him in front of our test room.
I also have experience with Korean people if I met them I will did bowing, usually Korean people they do bowing while say " AnyeongHaseyo" ( Hi).
So do you guys have the same experience as me?
