" Verbal Patterns "
" Directness"
Hello guys, welcome back to my blog......
Today I'll tell you about verbal communication.

Verbal communication is any communication that uses words to share information with others. These words may be both spoken and written. I guess every culture has a way to speak.
If in America there is a directness, my culture also has. So in my culture ( Flores), the people talk with direct and less direct there are no differences between man and women direct. I have experienced when I went to my village there were people in the harbor and one of them talk with loud and one of his friends talk with rude. I don't know it is impolite or not. For me people in my culture, they really active to make a conversation with others.
If we in one form let's say in the form of discussion they also dominate the discussion 😁 I don't why they are like that but
I think they love to make a conversation. They will less direct if they talk with people older than them, I think this is related to how they show their respect to others. For talking with direct, I think they also used that with people that closet with them.

That's all if you want to ask, you can ask on the comment.

" Introduction"
" Handshaking"

Hello guys, welcome back to my blog. Cross-culture understanding is one of my subjects that I must master this semester.
Talk about cross-culture understanding, it means we talk about many cultures in this world. So in this blog, I want to tell you guys about it.

The situation where a person introduces him/her self to another person, we called Introduction. So, every country certainly has an introduction itself. For example in Korea if they meet people they'll do the bowing, for America they do Handshaking this is firmly and briefly( a tight handshake signifies a person's personal warmth and shows confidence)and also with eye contact.
I have experienced while did the handshaking with Kefamenanu people. Kefamenanu is part of North Central Timor ( Nusa Tenggara Timur ) because of Kefamenanu nearby Timor Leste so the way they live quite the same with people in Timor Leste. I went to Kefamenanu for did my test (University)with my sister. I think handshaking is a general way for people to introducing themself with people they have met. But, for kefamenanu people, they will do handshaking  with their nose (they stick to our noses)

Man or women also did that, at first I thought there was like uncomfortable to me but, I still did that. I did it with the man because at the moment I just met him in front of our test room.
I also have experience with Korean people if I met them I will did bowing, usually Korean people they do bowing while say " AnyeongHaseyo" ( Hi).

So do you guys have the same experience as me?
